Reyhaneh Ansarinejad was summoned to Evin Security Court

According to the Coordination Committee to Help Form Workers’ Organizations, labor activist Reyhaneh Ansari has been summoned to Branch Two of the Evin Prosecutor’s Office for her final defense.

The Coordination Committee stated that Reyhaneh Ansari has seven days from February 15th to report to this branch.

On May 12, 2022, Reyhaneh Ansarinejad was arrested following a raid by security forces on her home and subsequently transferred to Ward 209 of Evin Prison.

This labor activist was finally released on Saturday, August 6th, after 87 days of detention and solitary confinement, on a bail of 1.5 billion tomans.

The charges against this labor activist include assembly and collusion against the regime and propaganda against the regime.

She is one of dozens of labor activists who were arrested this spring and summer as part of security agencies’ efforts to fabricate cases against professional and labor organizations.
