Reza Kianian to Zakani: You just realized Iran is beautiful?
Reza Kianian wrote in the Etemad newspaper addressing the mayor of Tehran: You have filled all the highways of Tehran with so-called beautiful displays of Iran’s beauties.
Did you remember Iran because of the recent protests, or were you reminded? Otherwise, I haven’t seen any sign of this interest in you before. If there is any, please show me examples to clarify my mind. Have you heard the saying from the time of Afghanistan’s occupation by our friendly and brotherly country, Russia: ‘We do not submit to force unless it is overwhelming’?
As far as I know, you haven’t spent anything on buying and restoring the old houses and buildings of Tehran. These beauties are being gradually destroyed by wind, water, soil, fire, addicts, and drug dealers. You didn’t care for historical buildings either.
