Rezai: America's Response Was Not Convincing, Hormuz Will Only Open with Implementation of Iran's Seven Conditions

Rezai: America’s response was not convincing; Hormuz will only open with the implementation of Iran’s seven conditions.

Mohsen Rezai, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, wrote on the X network that America’s response to Iran’s rights and demands was not convincing, and Washington must respond fully and clearly to Iran’s seven conditions and act upon them. He emphasized that only then will the Strait of Hormuz be opened. This stance has been presented while Tehran and Washington’s negotiations, mediated by Qatar, to end the war and reopen the Strait of Hormuz have not yet yielded a clear result. Also, there has been no news about Rezai’s response to the recent letter from J.D. Vance. Abbas Araghchi has said that the decision regarding the response to this letter rests with the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council.
