Rezai, Spokesperson of the National Security Commission: If We Are Ready for War, the Enemy Won't Dare to Attack

Rezai, the spokesperson for the National Security Commission: If we are ready for war, the enemy will not dare to attack.

The spokesperson for the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament, regarding the possibility of another attack by Israel, emphasized that sending a message of weakness from within to the outside is nothing but betrayal. He said all factions should be careful not to send a message of weakness to the outside. If the enemy thinks we are weak, they might attack us, but if they know we are strong, which we are, they will not dare to attack.

Ebrahim Rezai also spoke about the discussions between the deputy foreign ministers of Iran and the three European countries regarding the snapback mechanism, saying that apparently one of the agenda items is the review of the extension or non-extension of Resolution 2231.

He stated that we are distrustful of the three European countries because they have not fulfilled their commitments in the JCPOA regarding lifting sanctions. He added that in his opinion, we should not welcome a 6-month or shorter or longer extension of the JCPOA and Resolution 2231 because it has no benefits for us and will once again condition the society and leave it in limbo.

In another part of his comments, Ebrahim Rezai spoke about the possibility of another attack by Israel, saying nothing is certain. What I can say is that we must be ready for war. If we are ready for war, the enemy will not dare to attack us.
