Reza Kazemi, a 16-year-old teenager, died due to injuries sustained from a bullet fired by security forces.

Independent news sources in Kurdistan report that Reza Kazemi, a teenager who was wounded by gunfire from the Revolutionary Guards on the 23rd of November in Muchesh, Kamyaran, passed away after being hospitalized for 6 days due to his injuries.

A video showing Reza Kazemi, who was only 16 years old, being wounded was shared on social media on the 23rd of November. According to Ammar Goli, a journalist covering Kurdish regions in Germany, Reza Kazemi was in a coma due to severe injuries and had been transferred to Kosar Hospital in Sanandaj.

Reza Kazemi was shot in the chest by Revolutionary Guards forces in Muchesh, a district of Kamyaran. According to Kurdish journalist Ammar Goli, he was targeted by gunfire even though there was no gathering taking place at the location.

The human rights organization Hengaw and the Kurdistan Human Rights Network have confirmed the death of this 16-year-old teenager.
