Rocket fire from the Gaza Strip following Israel’s attack on Nablus

The Israeli army and eyewitnesses in Palestinian territories have reported that several rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip towards Israel before dawn on Thursday, February 23.

The Israeli army’s statement mentioned that the number of rockets fired was six, and it said that its air defense system managed to intercept five of these rockets, while the sixth one landed in a non-residential area.

Eyewitnesses from Palestinian areas told AFP that they saw at least eight rockets being fired.

However, Israel’s emergency services did not report any casualties following these attacks.
