Finally, on Friday, Al-Nassr’s Instagram page officially announced his joining the team by posting a picture of Ronaldo holding the number 7 jersey, and wrote, ‘Here, more than history is being written. Signing Ronaldo is not only inspiring for our team to achieve more success, but it will also inspire our nation’s league and future generations, both girls and boys, to present the best versions of themselves.’
Ronaldo is also set to help Saudi Arabia as a football ambassador in their bid to co-host the 2030 World Cup with Egypt and Greece.
According to media reports, Ronaldo’s salary is set to be 200 million euros per year.
