Rouhani: To Thwart Netanyahu, Negotiations Must Succeed

Rouhani: To prevent Netanyahu from achieving his goals, the negotiations must succeed

Hassan Rouhani, the former President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stated on Tuesday, April 8, that the only way to prevent Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from achieving his goals is for Iran to succeed in its negotiations with the United States.

He stated that we must succeed in negotiations with the United States and not allow Netanyahu to achieve his aims. Rouhani further mentioned the challenges and complexities of these negotiations, explaining that if the negotiations had continued indirectly, reaching a nuclear agreement like the JCPOA would not have been possible. He emphasized that if the negotiations were to be indirect, even in 20 years, we would not have reached an agreement.

The former President of the Islamic Republic of Iran also emphasized that the current situation is different from the past and that new strategies must be adopted to advance the negotiations considering the existing conditions.
