Russia is ready to cooperate with Iran to resolve the Middle East crisis
Alexander Venediktov, Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council, in a meeting with Ali Bagheri, Deputy Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, announced that Moscow is ready to closely cooperate with Tehran to find a peaceful solution to the Middle East crisis.
Condemning the attacks by the US and Israel on Iran, he said Russia strongly condemns the aggression of Washington and Tel Aviv.
Venediktov also described the killing of Iranian officials and commanders in these attacks as an irreparable loss and offered condolences to Iran.
The Russian official added that the people of Iran have not been broken by these attacks and have maintained their unity in the face of external threats.
The meeting between the two sides was held on the sidelines of the meeting of the Secretaries of Security Councils of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Bishkek.
