The Russian Foreign Minister says continued cooperation between Iran and the International Agency is important.
Sergey Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister, on Thursday, June 25, urged the Islamic Republic to continue its cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Speaking at a press conference, he referred to the issue of Iran suspending its cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency and said, ‘We are interested in seeing Iran’s cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency continue.’
Russia wishes for everyone to heed the Iranian leader, who has repeatedly stated that Iran has no plans to build nuclear weapons and will not have any.
Lavrov made these remarks while the proposal to oblige the government to suspend cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency was approved by the Parliament and ratified by the Guardian Council on Thursday.
