Russia's Ban for the Olympics Will Not Be Lifted

The sanctions on Russia for the Olympics will not be lifted

The International Olympic Committee has imposed unprecedented sanctions against Russia and Belarus

They cannot participate in any international sporting event without a flag, anthem, or other national symbols, and without the acceptance of government or administrative officials at any international sporting event

The sanctions were implemented in February 2022 and then reinforced and confirmed at the Olympic Summit on December 9 of the same year. These sanctions remain in effect
