Saba Sheardoust, the journalist, was pardoned

Milad Fadaei Asl, the husband of Saba Sheardoust, wrote: Saba Sheardoust’s sentence was communicated. According to the court’s announcement, this sentence is subject to the new pardon conditions and will not be executed.

According to the sentence, Saba was convicted of assembly and collusion, propaganda against the regime, and disturbing public order, receiving a punishment of 5 years and eight months of imprisonment, 74 lashes, and a two-year ban on leaving the country and engaging in political and social activities.
