Sadegh Zibakalam: Why Involving People in the Hijab Issue is Dangerous

Why Sadegh Zibakalam thinks involving people in the hijab issue is dangerous

Sadegh Zibakalam, a political analyst, says let’s assume that I, as Sadegh Zibakalam, intend to act according to the opinions and views of these gentlemen. Well, what should I do? If I see a woman without a hijab, how should I react? Has the law given me the right to confront this woman and attack her, or should I guide her through conversation and dialogue?

You see, the problem is that both of these approaches have their own specific consequences, and these gentlemen are not aware of them at all because we cannot rely on religious beliefs to delegate matters to individuals and ask them, for example, to intervene in the hijab issue.

The reality is that when we delegate the resolution of social and cultural issues to the people, we are practically exposing society to a very big danger, and this is essentially the most dangerous form of governance, because in such situations, each person acts according to their own understanding, mental state, and religious beliefs.
