Saeed Roustaee Takes the Lead with the Ministry of Culture to Avoid Falling Behind

Saeed Roustaee: The Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance is making the first move to avoid falling behind

Saeed Roustaee, the director of the film ‘Leila’s Brothers’, which has been released uncensored on online platforms, reacted to a statement by an official from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance who claimed that the film’s release was intentional. Roustaee, alluding to the security pressures following his clash with the ministry, said that the ministry is making the first move to avoid falling behind.

Mr. Roustaee wrote on his Instagram that ‘We have had a lot to say for a long time, but we have kept silent at the ministry’s request, and thank God you are witnessing their actions and the results of their actions. There are many things we can do, but again at the ministry’s request, we have not done anything yet. If things continue this way, we will both speak and act, although the outcome of a clash with the ministry, which constantly says it’s out of their hands, is a clash with many organizations that, thanks to this very ministry, we have been dragged into dealing with each of them, with only prison left.’
