Sajjad Aghaei, Iran’s golden runner, says I can’t afford to buy shoes for the Asian Championships
Sajjad Aghaei says he is preparing to participate in the Asian Championships but needs new shoes and hopes the Athletics Federation will solve this problem.
The 18-year-old Iranian runner, who won the gold medal in the 400 meters at the Asian Indoor Championships, is currently preparing for the Asian Youth Championships but needs new shoes and better facilities.
Sajjad Aghaei mentioned his condition before these competitions and stated that he started his outdoor training a week ago. The selection competitions will be held on March 14th, and we have the Asian Championships in May.
Aghaei continued, after winning the Asian gold, my motivation has increased several times, and I need to work harder because I want to win a medal for Iran. I will give my 100% for the competitions.
This runner, who needs new shoes for the Asian Championships, said about this issue, I ran in the Asian competitions with torn shoes, and now I don’t have shoes for the Asian Youth Championships. The cost is 23 million tomans, which I can’t afford. I hope the Federation helps me solve my problem.
