Salimi Nemineh, a principlist political activist, says Ahmadinejad will be disqualified.
Abbas Salimi Nemineh, a principlist analyst and political activist, criticizes the process during the registration of candidates for this round of elections, emphasizing that many of these figures only go to the Ministry of Interior to promote and cleanse their image. He also mentions that some of these individuals are under the delusion that they are at the level of a president.
In this conversation, Salimi Nemineh does not see any chance of winning for figures like Bazrpash and predicts that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad or Vahid Haqqanian will also be disqualified.
He says that it is clear Ahmadinejad is doing a publicity stunt. Those who were present at the time of his registration told me that Ahmadinejad had gathered a bunch of people who, from their appearance, did not seem very respectable, for a publicity parade.
Regarding Haqqanian, he said that he had been sidelined from the office and was in shock. Someone who had been involved in the most important events of the country and was frequently on television suddenly disappears completely, certainly experiences a shock.
