Sardar Kargar, Former Deputy of the Morality Police, Served the Country Well

Sardar Kargar, the former deputy of the law enforcement’s guidance patrol, served the country greatly.

Sardar Kargar, the former deputy of the social department of the law enforcement, said, ‘In my opinion, we should even kiss the hands of the police who sacrificed their own reputation and came to the streets to deal with those not observing hijab. It is the duty of the police to confront crime and social misconduct, and if the police are not authoritative, insecurity will increase.’

Sardar Kargar said the guidance patrol served the country greatly. At the end of Mr. Khatami’s government, the guidelines for chastity and hijab were approved by the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution. According to these guidelines, 27 organizations were responsible, but out of those 27, 25 organizations that needed to take proactive measures did not take any action, and only 2 reactive organizations, the law enforcement and the judiciary, became involved.
