Saudi Arabia condemns Iran’s attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia condemned Iran’s attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain in the strongest terms, considering them a violation of the sovereignty of the two countries and contrary to international law.
In the statement from the Saudi Foreign Ministry, the attack on Kuwait’s international airport and some of this country’s critical infrastructure is described as heinous, stating that these actions are a clear violation of the sovereignty of Bahrain and Kuwait, as well as a violation of the United Nations Charter.
Riyadh also emphasized its full solidarity with Bahrain and Kuwait and declared its support for the actions of these two countries.
Iran has announced that in response to U.S. attacks on an oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz and a Revolutionary Guard communications tower on Qeshm Island, it has targeted centers in Kuwait and Bahrain, which Tehran claims were the origin of these attacks.
Meanwhile, Kuwaiti officials have emphasized that the country has not granted any permission for the use of its territory for an attack on Iran by the United States.
