Saudi Consulate in Mashhad: We are looking for a 5-star hotel away from the shrine

The Saudi consulate in Mashhad is looking for a 5-star hotel that is far from the shrine.

The head of the professional association of hoteliers in Khorasan says that Saudi Arabia is looking for a 5-star hotel to temporarily house its consulate in Mashhad, which is far from the Imam Reza shrine.

Mahmoud Madarshahian told ISNA news agency that the Saudi delegation, which traveled to Mashhad to select a location for their consulate, is searching for a hotel with 10 rooms that is approved by Saudi security agencies to temporarily serve as their consulate in Mashhad for a period of 6 months to a year.
