Saudi Foreign Minister: Dialogue with Damascus is Necessary

The Saudi Foreign Minister stated that all Arab countries agree that the situation in Syria should not continue as it is.

According to the Al Mayadeen news network website, after reports confirming and denying the visit of Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan to Damascus in the coming days, he said in Munich that he will never comment on reports about his visit to Syria.

Bin Farhan expressed that there is a consensus not only in the Gulf countries but also in the Arab world that the situation in Syria should not continue in this way.

The Saudi Foreign Minister added that we need to reconsider the way to resolve the crisis and return the refugees.

He continued that due to the earthquake that occurred in Syria, there are many problems, and resolving the refugee crisis and the earthquake disaster should be conducted through dialogue with Damascus.
