For the first time in over a year, the Islamic Republic allowed women to selectively attend the Azadi Stadium in Tehran during the football match between the national teams of Iran and Russia.

This friendly match ended in a 1-1 draw, and based on the images released from this event, a small number of women, including a few Russian women, were present in the stadium.
