Seyed Mohammad Ali Ayazi, a researcher of religious and Quranic sciences, emphasizes the need for creating platforms for dialogue and peaceful demonstrations

Seyed Mohammad Ali Ayazi, a researcher of religious and Quranic studies, believes that the foundations for dialogue and peaceful demonstrations should be established.

Hojatoleslam Seyed Mohammad Ali Ayazi, a researcher of religious and Quranic studies, stated in an interview with Shafaqna

People can comfortably criticize the rulers when the government provides the necessary space for these criticisms and protests and refrains from violence. The foundations and conditions for dialogue and peaceful demonstrations must be established, and violence should be avoided.

We must give the initial opportunity to elites, intellectuals, artists, thinkers, and university professors, allowing them to express their criticisms. Independent clergy should be able to speak and express their views. Those who have experience and rationality, even if they disagree with us, should be given the chance to speak.

If we create the grounds and opportunities for dialogue for the middle sector, which includes writers, researchers, university professors, independent clergy, and scholars, certainly some of the violence and situations occurring in the streets today will be reduced. However, when intellectuals and professors are heavily attacked and threatened, naturally, the relationship is severed, leading to the events we are witnessing in the country today.
