Shahbaz Sharif continues efforts to resolve the dispute between the US and Iran
Shahbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, has announced that diplomatic efforts to reduce tension and resolve the dispute between the United States and Iran are ongoing.
According to a report by Agence France-Presse, he emphasized in a cabinet meeting that the dialogue process has not stopped, and said the ceasefire remains in place. He mentioned that even as he speaks, comprehensive efforts are underway to resolve the remaining issues.
Pakistan previously hosted negotiations between Iran and the US in Islamabad, talks that were held on Saturday but concluded without reaching a result.
In this process, Shahbaz Sharif has played the role of a mediator and has sought to create grounds for reducing tension between the two parties.
