Shasta, Saeedi’s Backyard and Relatives

At the peak of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, with the 4,200 toman dollar allocated by the Ministry of Health, Hamidreza Alipour, the brother-in-law of Meysam Saeedi, the current CEO of Shasta, deposited two pro forma invoices of 660 thousand euros each, spaced a few months apart, for importing the raw material PAP into a personal account named Farhad Esmekhah. According to documents and transaction committees, this person did not even have the best price for purchasing and importing the raw material, and Alipour was forcefully declared the winner in the transaction commission without even obtaining a copy of identity documents or any guarantee. The 30,000 toman euro at that time, with the official 4,200 toman dollar rate, was deposited into Esmekhah’s account. For two years, Esmekhah made excuses that it was due to coronavirus and he couldn’t travel to China. Overall, after 6 years, Esmekhah is enjoying himself in New Zealand with the government currency meant for the public’s medicine, while people were dying in droves during the pandemic. Alipour is the CEO of Kimiyagaran Farda, the biggest competitor of Darou Pakhsh’s raw materials, and it’s the role of regulatory bodies to see what commercial transactions Esmekhah has conducted with Kimiyagaran Farda over these years.
