Short-range missile launch by North Korea

According to South Korea and Japan, North Korea launched a short-range ballistic missile towards the eastern coast of the Korean Peninsula today, Sunday. This missile was launched this morning, traveling approximately 800 kilometers towards its target.

South Korea declared this action by its northern neighbor to be a clear violation of the United Nations Security Council resolution. North Korea had also launched an intercontinental long-range missile on Thursday before the start of joint exercises by the United States and South Korea.
