Silent Coup in the Chinese Communist Party
With the unchallenged consolidation of power by Xi Jinping in the Chinese Communist Party and the formalization of his leadership for a third term in the country, everyone was awaiting the unveiling of the party’s leadership cadres and the leaders who will govern China in the coming years.
As expected by experts, the Chinese leader has fully dominated the Communist Party, and by dismissing influential figures and appointing his loyalists, he has effectively completed a silent coup within the Communist Party successfully.
The unveiling ceremony of the party’s leadership cadres, although it brought about expected events, was still astonishing for many. After more than two decades, there is no news of women in the leadership cadre, and now six prominent figures are part of this cadre who are loyal to Xi and will advance his policies in the coming years.
