Six months have passed since the temporary detention of Elaheh Mohammadi

Elnaz, the sister of Elaheh Mohammadi, the detained journalist, has written on social media about missing her sister and mentioned that her temporary detention has exceeded six months.

Elaheh Mohammadi is a journalist covering social and women’s issues in the Ham-Mihan newspaper. After the death of Mahsa Amini, she traveled to Saqqez to report on her funeral and was detained upon her return following a phone summons.

In addition to Elaheh Mohammadi, Niloufar Hamedi, a journalist for the Shargh newspaper who was present at Kasra Hospital in Tehran at the time Mahsa Amini was hospitalized, is also in detention.
