Soon, the Foreign Ministers of Iran and Russia Will Meet in Moscow

Soon, the foreign ministers of Iran and Russia will meet in Moscow.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Iranian Foreign Minister, tweeted that he will meet with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, in the near future.

Earlier, Russian media reported that the two ministers are scheduled to meet on March 29th, which corresponds to the 9th of Farvardin, in Moscow. Iran and Russia have had close cooperation in recent years. Western countries have accused Iran of arming Moscow in the war with Ukraine, which Iran denies.

Ali Shamkhani, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, has played a major role in Iran’s foreign meetings in recent months. This has led to some criticism of the performance and role of Iran’s Foreign Ministry. Now, the Iranian Foreign Minister responded by saying that there is coordination in foreign policy, everything is within the framework of the system and under the supervision of the President. Enemies should know there is no disagreement.
