South Korean Security Agency: 2,000 North Korean Soldiers Killed in Ukraine War

South Korean intelligence reports that 2,000 North Korean soldiers have been killed in the Ukraine war.

The South Korean intelligence agency announced that according to their estimates, about two thousand North Korean soldiers have been killed in Russia’s war against Ukraine. In April, the number of North Korean casualties in the Ukraine war was estimated at 600.

Last year, North Korea sent over 10,000 soldiers to Russia, most of whom are fighting against Ukraine in the Kursk border region.

According to obtained information, Pyongyang intends to send another six thousand soldiers to Russia.

North Korea is the main supporter of Russia in the war against Ukraine.

Last year, the two countries signed a defense pact that includes a clause for mutual defense.
