Special Police Patrols Start Operating in Tehran Today

Special police patrols started operating in Tehran from today.

General Qasem Rezaei, the deputy commander of the national police force, said at the inauguration ceremony of the special police patrols, which was held this morning, September 11, 2022, at the central command headquarters of Tehran’s police force.

Today, a serious message was sent to the disruptors. God willing, such units will be formed throughout the country—units that do not recognize day or night and love the people of Iran.

Robbery, armed theft, mugging, bag snatching, and anything that creates fear and anxiety among the people is the red line for these patrols. From today, the activities of these patrols will be implemented in Greater Tehran and targeted areas. My warning to the offenders is to turn back because the people’s anger is in the arms of these units.
