Spokesperson of Faraja: 18,500 thieves were arrested during Nowruz

Sardar Saeed Montazerolmahdi, spokesperson of Faraja, stated that over 18,500 thieves were arrested in the Nowruz operation, and said that this year, the occurrence of theft during Nowruz decreased by 22% compared to the same period last year.

The spokesperson of Faraja mentioned the reduction and control of theft as one of the special actions of the police during this period and said that this Nowruz, the most significant reductions in theft were related to a roughly 33% decrease in home burglaries and a 22% decrease in car thefts compared to the same period last year.

Sardar Montazerolmahdi added that during this time, the detection of stolen cars increased by 114% compared to last year, which was among the best performances of the police in the field of discoveries.
