Spokesperson of the Commanding Good and Forbidding Evil Headquarters: Some Religious Youths Do Not Want the Hijab Issue to Be Pursued

The spokesperson for the Headquarters for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice: Some religious youth do not want the hijab issue to be pursued.

People should know that the hijab is a priority. However, among religious and Hezbollah-affiliated youth, some say that now is not the time to discuss and pursue the hijab, while others argue that the hijab is one of the principles of the revolution that has always been emphasized and should be attended to.

Nevertheless, what we can mention in addition to the Ministry of Interior’s statement is that promoting virtue and preventing vice, according to the eighth principle of the constitution, is the responsibility of all people, and no one can say that someone should not promote virtue and prevent vice. The Headquarters for Promotion of Virtue, the judiciary, and the police are also obligated to support those who promote virtue.
