Statement by Some Graduates of the University of Art: The True Owners and Children of This University Are the Students, Not the Oppressors

A statement by a number of graduates of the University of Art: The true children and rightful owners of this university are the students, not the oppressors.

A number of graduates of the University of Art, in defense of the protesting students of this university, said in a statement: Today, you are the students least in need of a degree from this ministry of oppression and lies.

They added: We, the graduates of the University of Art, hereby declare that we too, in solidarity and alignment with the students of today, strongly condemn the dishonorable approach of the Ministry of Science and the university’s administration, and we emphasize that the true children and rightful owners of this university are the students, not the oppressors.

In the final part of this statement, it is mentioned: We stand not only with our names and signatures but also shoulder to shoulder with you, warmly clasping your hands in the pursuit of our main slogan, ‘Woman, Life, Freedom,’ and assure you.

We are all together.
