Statement of Teachers’ Trade Associations in Protest Against Executions

The Coordinating Council of Teachers’ Trade Associations of Iran issued a statement calling for the halt of the execution of protesters and a retrial for them.

In this statement, published on the Telegram channel of this trade association, it is mentioned that undoubtedly if this process is carried out according to the law, it will become clear that in issuing these verdicts against the downtrodden and the seekers of rights, there has been a ruthless generosity in issuing oppressive rulings to instill fear and terror in society, aiming to silence the voice of protest against oppression, discrimination, and injustice. However, the policy of fear and pressure, as long as the cycle of oppression and injustice continues its rapid course, not only has the least effect but will ultimately burn the foundations of tyranny and oppression.
