Statement Released by a Group of Public International and Human Rights Law Students from Allameh Tabataba'i University

A statement by a group of students from the International Public Law and Human Rights department at Allameh Tabataba’i University has been released.

In the name of the Lord of Light, in these days filled with darkness and fear, where cities, streets, and alleys bear witness to and cry out against the oppression and injustice inflicted upon the innocent people of our land. Days when we simultaneously mourn the seventh and fortieth day memorials of our nation’s children and look with pride upon the courage of our youth and adolescents. Now, the sanctity of the university and its students has been violated.

The memory of the blood of the girl from Saqqez is still fresh in the city, yet students are being denied entry to their dormitories, which are their homes, and are being unlawfully deprived of their right to have a dormitory.
