Statement Released by a Group of Public International and Human Rights Students at Allameh Tabataba'i University

A statement from a group of public international law and human rights students at Allameh Tabataba’i University has been released.

In the name of the Lord of Light, in these days filled with darkness and fear, when cities, streets, and alleys testify to and cry out against the oppression and injustice inflicted upon the oppressed people of our land, during days when we are simultaneously in mourning for the seventh and fortieth days of our nation’s children, and we look upon the courage of our youth with pride, now the sanctity of the university and the students have been violated.

The memory of the city has not yet been cleansed of the solitude of the blood of the young girl from Saqqez, and now students are being denied entry to dormitories, which are their homes, and their right to have a dormitory is being unlawfully taken from them.
