Steve Witkoff, the special representative of Donald Trump, announced that the United States is hopeful about holding a meeting with Iran this week

Speaking on Friday in Miami, Florida, he stated that America is in talks with Iran and added, ‘We think meetings will be held this week; we are certainly hopeful for it’

Witkoff also said that ships are passing through, and this is a very, very good sign

He further emphasized that Donald Trump is seeking to achieve a peace agreement and added, ‘We have a 15-point plan on the table that has been in the hands of the Iranians for some time, and we are awaiting their response’

Iran had previously announced that it found the 15-point plan unacceptable and has rejected it
