Storm Closes Schools in Some Cities of Sistan and Baluchestan

The storm closed schools in some cities of Sistan and Baluchestan

Majid Mohabi, the Director General of the Crisis Management Office of Sistan and Baluchestan Province, announced the closure of schools in the cities of Zabol, Zahak, Hamun, Hirmand, and Nimruz due to strong winds and dust.

According to him, this closure is based on a weather warning and forecast in the northern half of this province.

Mr. Mohabi, however, emphasized that government offices in these cities will remain open.

He said that if the intensity of this weather system increases, there is a possibility of school and office closures in the coming days, and notifications will be provided in this regard.
