Strange remarks by a member of parliament: If people are seeking the truth, they should trust the national broadcasting service.
Mojtaba Mahfouzi, a member of the Cultural Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, made strange statements in an interview with the Iran Watchdog website.
If people are looking for the truth around them, they should trust domestic media, especially the national broadcasting service, and not get news from foreign sources.
If people are in search of true news and real facts, they should follow domestic and official media and be assured that the truths are what is said in these media.
Of course, some truths might not be disclosed due to necessity and classified information and security, which is common in all countries. It might be revealed later, or it might never be announced because disclosing it could harm the country and the nation.
Just as I am confident in the truthfulness of domestic media news, I am also certain of the falsehood of news from hostile and foreign media, with more than 50% of news from hostile channels being false. Some of the footage they show of recent riots is from past years and even from other countries, and it is not real; they only aim to excite and agitate the people.
