Informed Syrian sources reported that a security agreement between the Syrian interim government and Israel will be signed on September 25th (3rd of Mehr) with U.S. mediation.

This agreement will take place one day after the speech by Jolani, the head of the Syrian interim government, at the United Nations meeting in New York.

Its main goal is stated to be the reduction or cessation of security tensions between Damascus and Tel Aviv.
