Tabriz representative: Ahmadinejad’s last-minute voting was a form of protest

Alireza Beigi, the Tabriz representative, explained Ahmadinejad’s last-minute voting in the twelfth parliamentary elections and said Mr. Ahmadinejad’s voting was a form of protest as he went to vote at the last moment.

Ahmadinejad currently voted to clear himself of accusations because some say Ahmadinejad has his eyes on the post-Islamic Republic era. Therefore, to distance himself from this accusation, despite his doctor’s advice to avoid exposure to wind and air due to surgery on his eyelids, he participated in the elections merely to prove that his focus is not on the post-Islamic Republic.
