Tahhan Nazif: The Guardian Council’s objections to the Hijab bill still remain

Hadi Tahhan Nazif, the spokesperson for the Guardian Council, emphasized regarding the latest status of the Modesty and Hijab bill that we have recently received the parliament’s amendment on this matter and we are currently reviewing it. The review is not yet complete.

He added that so far, some of the Guardian Council’s objections still stand, primarily concerning articles 47 and 48.
