Taj’s Reaction to Iran’s National Team Being Removed from the World Cup

The president of the Football Federation responded to the rumors about the national team’s removal from the Qatar World Cup. Mehdi Taj, regarding the rumors surrounding the national team’s removal from the 2022 World Cup, said all Iranians around the world want the national team to participate and succeed in the World Cup.

When the national team wins, even those in America speak Persian for a day or two and hang the Iranian flag at their homes and shops. He added, I have not heard or know of any credible news about the removal of Iran’s national team or any of the 32 teams qualified for the Qatar World Cup. I have no evidence that this is going to happen.
