The Taliban’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Iran’s attack on Israel was a legitimate defensive action.

Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the spokesperson of the Taliban’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wrote in an article that Israel, in continuation of its crimes, targeted the Iranian consulate section of the embassy in Damascus, the capital of Syria, in early April of this year, contrary to all diplomatic norms and international laws. In response, the Islamic Republic of Iran took legitimate defensive actions last night.

He emphasized that Israel continues to commit genocide against more than 30,000 civilians in Gaza.
