Tapsi was hacked

User information has fallen into the hands of hackers

Milad Monshipour, CEO of Tapsi, announced in a series of tweets that the country’s infrastructure was hacked in recent days

Mr. Monshipour said that in the past few days, we noticed unauthorized access to Tapsi’s company infrastructure and the extraction of some information. As soon as this issue was discovered, we filed a complaint and informed the police, and blocked their access

In continuation of these tweets, the hackers’ intentions were mentioned and that the company reported to the police

Mr. Monshipour said, according to the emails we received from the attacking group, their intention was blackmail, and they demanded money to not publish the information. We decided not to succumb to this blackmail because during negotiations, we realized that there was no guarantee against the publication of information and future misuse

This hacker group stated on their Telegram channel that they have managed to access the information of 27 million passengers. The price mentioned for selling this information in this Telegram channel is $35,000. This information includes first name, last name, phone number, national ID code, city, and sometimes email
