The name of Mehdi Taremi, the Iranian national team and Porto club striker, once again appeared alongside the world’s top football stars.

The UEFA Champions League page released the names of players who scored the most goals in 2022 for their clubs and national teams. According to UEFA’s information, Mehdi Taremi, the Iranian Porto striker, is among this list of eight players. Taremi, with 22 goals, is ranked above Erling Haaland and Harry Kane, the stars of Manchester City and Tottenham. Based on this, Kylian Mbappe, the French player from Paris Saint-Germain, is in first place with 31 goals, and Karim Benzema, his compatriot and Real Madrid striker, is in second place with 27 goals.
