Tasnim: Iran Halts Message Exchange with the U.S.

The Tasnim news agency reported that Iran has decided to halt the exchange of messages and texts with the U.S. through intermediaries in response to continued Israeli attacks in Lebanon and Gaza.

According to the report, Tehran believes that the ceasefire should encompass all fronts, including Lebanon, and there will be no dialogue until Israeli attacks on Lebanon and Gaza stop and Israeli forces withdraw from occupied areas in Lebanon.

Tasnim also claimed that Iran and its allied groups have put options, including increasing pressure on the region’s maritime routes, on the agenda.

This report was published hours after Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi emphasized that a ceasefire between Iran and the United States unequivocally includes a ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon.
