Tataloo attempted to end his own life

Tataloo attempted to end his life.

According to sources close to Amir Maghsoudloo, known as Tataloo, he was hospitalized in Tehran in the early hours of Friday, May 29th, after attempting to end his life. Nasim Maghsoudloo, Tataloo’s sister, without providing specific details, wrote on her Instagram story, ‘Forgive us that we don’t know how to handle Amir Tataloo. We haven’t had an artist like you in 50 years, and we don’t know how to understand you.’

This 37-year-old singer has been sentenced to death for the charge of insulting sanctities and to 10 years in prison for two charges of encouraging corruption and prostitution.

In recent days, Tataloo’s lawyer had announced that the verdict was overturned in the Supreme Court, but the judiciary denied this claim and considered his sentence final and ready for execution.

Nevertheless, the judiciary spokesperson confirmed that the case lawyers are trying to save their client from execution based on articles 114 and 447 of the Islamic Penal Code.
