Taylor, Hassan Yazdani's Traditional Rival, Officially Retired from Wrestling

Taylor, the traditional rival of Hassan Yazdani, officially retired from the world of wrestling.

David Taylor, the traditional rival of Hassan Yazdani, whose competition with him was one of the most exciting wrestling matches in the world, has officially stepped away from the world of championship wrestling.

After being defeated in the U.S. national team trials for the Paris Olympics, Taylor caught the attention of wrestling officials in the state of Oklahoma, one of the wrestling hubs in the U.S., and was eventually appointed as the head coach of Oklahoma’s state wrestling team.

David Taylor, nicknamed ‘The Magician’, has an Olympic gold medal and three world golds and one silver in his record.
