Tehran became the fifth most polluted city in the world

According to data from the World Air Quality website, Tehran, the capital of Iran, was the fifth most polluted city in the world on Tuesday, November 24th.

The data from this website shows that Kolkata in India, Tashkent the capital of Uzbekistan, Lahore in Pakistan, and Dakar the capital of Senegal are the only cities with worse air quality than Tehran.

The air quality in Tehran on Tuesday remained in the red category and extremely unhealthy for all groups, despite the closure and remote work of offices and educational centers.
